Reading IS Magic at Hodgesville Elementary

Reading IS Magic!
Students at Hodgesville Elementary School spent the summer completing reading challenges such as reading in their pajamas, reading with a flashlight, and reading to a pet or stuffed animal.  As a result of their hard work, students were treated to a magic show by Kevin Lyons of Philippi, WV.
Students were enthralled during the show when they were able to throw imaginary coins into a bucket and they became real, a live rabbit appeared out of a hat, and water disappeared out of a cup!  Forty-six of our first through fifth graders participated in the challenge and were treated to the magic show.
