RCES students "Snuggle Up" to learning

RCES students participated in a Title I activity entitled Snuggle Up and Learn. Partnering with We Sing your Name/Create a Critter, students in PK-5 stuffed their own animal and used it in various learning activities. Teachers prepared a lesson to build skills in Reading which included writing stories, research and following directions. Everyone had a great time and left with skills and a new fuzzy friend!

RCES Digs Dinosaurs

RCES students in grades K-5 traveled back in time to find fossils and dinosaurs. The Harrison County Parks and Recreation offers various educational programs for students. Broken into various stations, the students got to see, hold and experience life in the prehistoric age. They dug for fossils and even built dinosaurs. It was a very exciting day!
