For the Board Meeting on May 24, 2023, Upshur Stars recognized the students who became certified in Basic Tax Law and were able to participate in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program through the IRS. These students volunteered their time to prepare Federal and State Income tax returns for students and community members. The following students were recognized: Bradly Helmick, Cory Harris, Savannah Lashmit, Kenzie Leonard, Reis Leonard, Madolyn Long, Regina Petrokovich, Ashley Catlin, Aaliyah Cameron, and Brycen Allen.
