Upshur Stars were recognized on Tuesday evening for their dedicated efforts to our staff and students. West Virginia Wesleyan College is partnering with Upshur County Schools to offer higher education opportunities to our high school students, as part of the WV Grow Your Own initiative. Move 304 demonstrates commitment to Upshur County high school students and offers training to those participating in alternative learning experiences. Personalized Alternative Learning teachers and support specialists were recognized for enhancing learning opportunities, while fostering academic, physical, social, and emotional support for our students. School nurses were recognized for National School Nurse Day, which will be celebrated on May 11th. We are grateful for the efforts our nurses contribute to promote the health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff.
