Attention senior parents: Project Graduation forms are due this Friday, May 5th to the office. Also, make sure your student sees Ms. Rexroad or Mr. Webb this week for graduation ticket requests and how you want your name on your diploma. Graduation is almost here!

Prom info continued... -Willie on Wheels Camper Photo Booth will provide pictures for free. •Hippie Dippie Donuts will provide 6 free mini donuts for everyone. •Other food trucks will be available for food purchases. Bring money if you would like to purchase. •Water will be provided. •DJ Charles Hayes will provide the music. There will be dancing, outdoor games like corn hole, spike ball, etc.

B-UHS Junior & Senior Prom Information: Theme: A Walk Through Botanical Gardens Location: The Event Center at Brushy Fork Time: 7:00-10:00 pm •Guest Forms: available in the office. Guest forms are for out-of-county guests or out-of-school guests 20 years old and younger. Forms are due April 25. •Tickets are $15 each. Tickets sales are April 24-April 27 during all lunch shifts. On Wednesday, April 12th, B-UHS will be testing grades 9, 10, and 11. The SAT is being provided free by the WVDE; it is mandatory that all 11th grade students report to school that day. -Tests will start at 8:15 AM; students need to report to B-UHS by 8 AM. -Students should get a good night’s rest the night before and eat a healthy breakfast the morning of testing. Breakfast After First and snacks will be provided. -Students are not permitted to have any personal electronic devices during testing; electronic devices will be collected by teacher, then redistributed to students once tests have concluded. Reminder: You are invited to an informative workshop, Navigating the Teenage Years this evening at Buckhannon-Upshur High School. This event is for Buckhannon-Upshur High School and Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School families. School tours will be from 5:00-6:00 pm for upcoming freshmen. From 6:00-8:00 pm you will be able to choose sessions about raising a pre-teen and teenager. We will have various sessions Substance Awareness, What you need to know about social media/apps, Wellness/Nutrition, Mental/Social Health, Diversity, Grandparents/Foster Parents raising teenagers and more! There will be nice give aways, door prizes and refreshments! We look forward to an evening addressing important topics!

B-UHS will have parent-teacher conferences Thursday, February 23rd from 4pm-6pm.

The Class of 2023 would like to invite you to an In Person auction being held at the Brushy Fork Outpost and Event Center on December 8th @ 7pm. All proceeds benefit Project Graduation. Doors will open at 6:00pm. Concessions will be available. Bring your friends and family and come join us for a fun evening!

WV School Learning Environment Student Survey B-UHS students have been asked to take an anonymous survey to gain input about their school. The feedback they provide will be used to help make improvements to ensure B-UHS provides a positive and supportive place for students to learn and for teachers to work. The Survey will be administered online in a classroom. It will take about 20-30 minutes to complete. There is an opt out form attached to this story if you choose to have your student not take the survey. Parents of seniors, juniors, and sophomores, B-UHS class ring orders will be taken Wednesday, September 21st during lunch and after school from 3:30-5:30 in the cafeteria.
