Upshur County Schools signed a partnership agreement with Pierpont Community and Technical College that will afford students the opportunity to leave high school completing two years of college. The "1 Walk, 2 Degrees" experience allows students to start their journey toward earning a degree that can be applied to future careers. When students graduate high school, they will earn a high school diploma and an associate's degree toward a field of interest. In high school, students will begin earning general studies requirements that can be applied to a four-year degree through Pierpont.
