Congratulations to Scotty Woody for being awarded superior ratings for his tuba playing at the regional Solo & Ensemble festival. Students from across the area prepared pieces of music to be judged by respected teachers and professors. Students must be awarded three or more superiors to be eligible for the state recital. Scotty received five out of five superiors. Scotty is a student at Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School. He plays tuba in beginning band, and is a private student of Mr. Seth Stemple.
