In honor of National Women's History Month, our FCES Kindness Club is having a collection drive to support a local organization whose focus is aiding women and children. Items needed: - Women's XL and XXL clothing - Socks/Underwear - Hygiene items (shampoo, body wash, soap, toothpaste, etc.) - Feminine hygiene items - Diapers/wipes - Cards/Pictures All donations will be accepted throughout the month of March and can be turned into Mr. Hedrick and/or Mrs. Blake in our FCES office. Thanks!

I want to say thank you for our attendance on our first testing day! We were so close to 100% attendance for grades 3 - 5! I also wanted to send out a reminder for the remaining testing dates: May 1 Reading May 8 Math May 9 Science (5th Grade only)

We are still experiencing some issues with report cards. They are not being sent home today. We will send them home as soon as the update is fixed. Thank you!

Reminder to all 3rd, 4th , and 5th Grade FCES Families: We will be having our GSA Writing test tomorrow, March 12. We want to wish our students the best for their test! Remind them to get to bed early tonight, eat a good breakfast tomorrow morning, and be sure to hydrate! Thanks! Mr. Baisden

Have a senior graduating this year from BUHS? Want some scholarship money? If they attended FCES for at least 3 years, make sure they apply for our PTO Scholarship. We will be handing 3 of them out in May. Applications can be found at the BUHS counselor's office. Thanks!

Upshur County students and staff are asked to wear red, white & blue tomorrow to display their support to Liberty High School faculty, staff & students in this difficult time.

Bingo Update: The bingo and silent auction scheduled tomorrow at FCES has been rescheduled to next Sunday, February 25th. Doors will open at 12:30 PM and bingo will start at 2 pm. All Upshur County schools are shutdown to any outside activities due to impending weather.

FCES Families: Valentine's Day parties will start at 2:15 PM tomorrow, 2/14/2024. Please remember your IDs when entering the school. Also, we will have TABLES of LOST AND FOUND items. Please grab anything that is your child's. We will be donating these items to the Parish House very soon.
