Attendance reminder! We continue to have students being picked up early from school on a regular basis. Please see the attendance information sheet below and/or posted in the office! These minutes add up over time and are detrimental to your child's learning process.
All schools in Upshur County will be non-traditional learning on Thursday. Jan. 18, 2024. Staff reports on a two hour delay and will be available from 10 am - 12 pm. We will be in trainings in the afternoon.
We want to wish our Spelling Bee representatives the best of luck in the Upshur County Spelling Bee. It is being held tonight at the B-UHS auditorium and is set to start at 6 pm.

During the winter months, Upshur County Schools may call a Non-Traditional Instructional Day (NTID) instead of a traditional snow day.
If this were to happen, please follow the plan below to complete and return to school the next day. The plan is also available on our website.
Teachers will be available at the school for call-in assistance starting at 10:00am should you need them.

FCES Parents/Guardians:
Please make sure you sign the Barn Hill Preserve form even if your child isn't buying anything. It is a permission form that allows your child to watch the presentation. If they don’t have it then they can’t watch it.
Reminder: We will be having our 2023 Christmas Concert on tomorrow. We will open the doors at 12:45 PM and begin the concert at 1:15 PM. The classroom parties will follow the concert. Please don't forget to bring proper ID to sign in. Santa will also be at the school first thing in the morning and the students will get their picture taken with him!
3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Families:
Be on the lookout for an information sheet for Monday's trip to WVU for the basketball game. We sent it home with kids today, but you can also see it on our Facebook page.
