Students in Upshur County Schools who wish to transfer to virtual learning for the Spring 2026 semester must complete a Virtual Learning Request. The link can be found on our website (upshurschools.com) available on November 3rd. The sign-up window is open from November 3, 2025 through November 21, 2025.
📌 Important Notes:
- Students who are already enrolled in virtual learning do not need to complete a new form.
- Students who are currently virtual and wish to return to in-person learning should contact Mrs. Stacy Marteney directly no later than - November 21, 2025.
- Please ensure all requests are submitted within the designated timeframe.

Several drivers have been caught running the stop sign on our school buses so far this year. This isn’t just illegal—it’s dangerous.
When a school bus turns on red lights and extends its stop arm, children are loading or unloading. Passing a stopped bus puts lives at risk.
🛑 It’s not worth the risk.

Let’s protect our students. Stop for the bus. Every time. Upshur County Schools transportation staff reports all drivers who violate this law.
