🧧🐉 Celebrating Chinese New Year in Systems of Support!
On 02/20/26 our elementary Systems of Support Class brought the spirit of the Chinese New Year to life by creating their very own Chinese Dragon! Students learned about the traditions, symbolism, and rich culture behind this global celebration—then worked together to design a colorful dragon full of creativity and teamwork.
Mr. Klaus shared, “Our students shine when they get to learn through hands-on experiences. This project let them explore culture, art, and teamwork all at once.”
We are so proud of their hard work and excitement for learning. 🐲✨

Due to the anticipated winter weather, all Upshur County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 6th.
Due to the winter weather, Upshur County Schools is closed today, Wednesday, February 4th.
Tomorrow, Monday, February 2nd, all schools will operate on a 2-hour delay. Please continue to monitor for any messages regarding potential changes to a bus route due to a canceled stop. If a student is unable to attend school because of the bus stop cancellation, they will be excused.
