Upshur County Schools will be operating on a two-hour delay today, Tuesday, February 13th.
Good evening. This is a message from Upshur County Schools. This message is about multiple bus cancellations for tomorrow, Friday, January 9th. Bus 24 will not be complete the morning run. Middle and high school students affected by this cancellation can meet at UES by 7:15 AM to ride bus 92 to school. Bus 28 will not complete the afternoon run. These students will be transported in the afternoon by bus 92 and can be picked up from UES at 3:35 PM. Bus 236 will not complete a morning or afternoon run tomorrow. Good evening. This is a message from Upshur County Schools. There are multiple bus cancellations. This message will be posted on the Bus 24 will not be completing the morning or afternoon run tomorrow, Monday, January 29th. Middle and High School students that ride bus 28 and transfer to bus 24 will be riding bus 92 at 7:15 a.m. Bus 92 will return middle and high school students to bus 28 at 3:35 p.m. All other students who regularly ride bus 24 will need to be parent transport. Bus 23 will not be completing the afternoon run tomorrow, Monday, January 29. Middle and high school students can ride bus 33 to RCES at 3:40 PM. Bus 88 will drop students off who live in town. Bus 240 will not be completing the afternoon run, Monday, January 29th. Middle and high school students can ride bus 238 to FCES for parent pick up at 3:45 PM. Finally, bus 242 will not be completing the morning or afternoon run tomorrow, Monday, January 29th. Middle and high school student can meet at WDES at 7:15 AM to ride bus 91 to school. Good afternoon. This is an important message from Upshur County Schools. Due to inclement weather all schools will operate as a non-traditional instructional day tomorrow, Thursday, January 18th. All staff events in the afternoon will still take place as scheduled. Day to day substitutes for cooks, aids, bus drives, and teachers do not need to report to work. Due to inclement weather, all Upshur County schools are having a non-traditional instructional day on Wednesday, January 17th. All employees report to work on a 2-hour delay. Teachers will be available to provide support from school and through their normal means of communication. The spelling competition scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, at 6:00 p.m. is still scheduled to continue as normal.
The Upshur County Board of Education meeting scheduled for this evening, January 16, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. has been cancelled due to inclement weather. It is rescheduled for January 23, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Buckhannon Upshur High School. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Bus 28 will not be completing the morning or the afternoon run. Middle and school students can meet at UES at 7:15 AM to be transported to their school by bus 24. Bus 24 will bring these students back to UES at 3:40 PM. Bus 19 will not be completing the morning run. Middle and High School students can meet at HES at 9:05 AM to ride bus 31 and will return to HES at 3:50 PM. Additionally Bus 31 will pick up and drop off students on route 20. Bus 91 will not be completing the morning run today. Middle and High School students can meet at WDES by 9:25 AM to be transported by bus 242 or 243. Bus 243 will not be completing an afternoon run today. Middle and high school students will be brought to WDES to be picked up at 3:30 PM. Additionally, bus 28, will still be unable to complete a morning run today. However, please adjust the time from yesterday's message to account for the delay.
