It is with great excitement that we welcome you back to a new school year. We hope that the summer of 2021 provided you with opportunities to explore the outdoors and make memories with your friends and family.
Tomorrow, August 17, we will welcome back our Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th, and 9th grade students for their first day on campus. Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm.
On Wednesday, August 18, all Pre-K through 12th grade students will be welcomed back to school for the first full day of instruction. We look forward to seeing you!
Seven-day food box distribution will be held TODAY, August 11th, at the Tennerton Warehouse from 9:00am-3:00pm. Food boxes are available for ALL children, ages 18 and younger. This is the last day of Food Box Distribution.
Good morning (or afternoon) and welcome to the 2021-2022 school year.
If you have a student entering 7th or 12th grade this year, they are required by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources to receive either their 1st meningitis and Tdap vaccines prior to entering 7th grade - or their 2nd meningitis vaccine prior to entering 12 grade. They must have these vaccines, or bring to the school nurse proof of vaccination from a doctor's office, before the first day of school, August 18th, in order to start.

Upshur County Schools are continuing to offer Upshur County Pool 🌊 and West Virginia Wildlife Center 🦌 passes to students and their families. At this time, passes are available for pick-up at the Upshur County Board of Education office. Passes may be picked up between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm. Come get yours today! ☀💙
Upshur County Schools are inviting students to get out and stay active this summer! With that in mind, we have worked with the Upshur County Commission and WV Division of Natural Resources to provide the following opportunities for our students and their families.
1. Free family season pool passes (up to six members) to the Upshur County Recreational Park.
2. Free family season passes (up to six members) to the WV
Wildlife Center (Game Farm).

Upshur County Schools Student Technology and Internet Access Survey
Greetings!
The West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) is requesting information about students' internet and technology device access at home in the form of a survey. This information will be utilized to help with future planning and funding opportunities. We want to be sure to provide resources to improve student connectivity and access and are asking for your support. Please complete the survey with your response(s) by May 28, 2021.
NOTE: Families with more than one student should submit a separate survey for each child.
